Mike Robinson

An amazing teacher. I think lazy students will find his class hard - yes; the material is challenging BUT Mike gives thorough step by step instructions on how to complete assignments and you will get an A+ once you are attentive and follow his PDFs to the T. He is extraordinarily knowledgable - one of the best additions to the photography program!

As others before me have said, he makes things so much more complicated. Classes are often dry and the material is intimidating even if it shouldn't be. Prof seems to be off in his own world half the time. Try to synthesize his information as best you can, it's all you can do to keep afloat.. Good luck!

Can be really confusing in his lectures and outlines but excellent at giving one-on-one help. His assignments are seem a little useless but will help overall. He's also a really easy marker!

Nice guy, so much knowledge to offer (he's like the only daguerrotypist in north america!) but no ability to communicate to students during lectures. Everything is made to seem 1000x more complicated than it is. His assignment outlines are 20 pages. He's pretty hilarious though, whether or not he means to be. His license plate says "DAGUERRE".

Good prof, makes stuff sound more complicated than it is at times, but is always willing to help whenever you need him. Corny sense of humour, but a nice guy overall. You just gotta filter what he tells you sometimes.

He is unbelievably spiteful and rude. Lacks education and knowledge. Do not have an open mind.
