awesome prof... a lot of work in his class... BUT if u do poor on exams, he will raise your mark
great guy ! great prof ! would take another class of his if i could !
Well spoken and keeps lectures relatively interesting. A bit quarky/padantic. Learning that actually occurs throughout the semester is pretty minimal and not very challenging.
I had to take this class Saturday at 9am, but not once did I feel like I wanted to sleep in his class. It's a course with lots of background to fill, but Chris explains it really well. His mini in-class group battles help you think about what he was explaining. As for the reading/excel/access, well, that's the course so lean to time man. Grt Prof!
This class has a heavy workload. You have to read 1 to 2 chapters from the text every week, one timed quiz online every week, one Excel or Access assignment online every week, one timed Excel or Access quiz every week. Plus, there is a reaserch paper that is due near the end of the course and a final exam. The instructor is great!
MOST entertaining class of my semester!Mr.Tysiaczny's teaching style is engaging and he is not boring.Overall,he's a very friendly approachable down-to-earth guy.In class 'pop quizzes' are group work on simple in-class case studies, blackboard MC quizes-read the text, final exam-use WileyPlus practice questions, inclass notes, textbook n powerpoints

Tried to make class as intersting as possible. I found his weekly quizzes contained all material from lectures and text, incl the blurb boxes from "knowledge workers". Some questions were ridiculous..."What does Bob Smith think is the most important skill to have?" ...really, who cares about Bob Smith and his opinion.Quiz me on the actual material
Not the best prof. He's not helpful at all when it comes to problems with assignments. Just learn off the text since exams are from question pools. He claims lecture material will be on tests, but he really just asks 2 or 3 trivial-like questions. Would not recommend if your aiming for high marks.
HE IS THE BEST!!!! Very helpful, wants his students to do well
