She seems really nice at first, but she can be super sassy over the smallest things. As a teacher, she's really helpful and clear in the way that she explains things. As a marker, she's really tough and you realllly have to work for it.
Okay prof. Need to study for this class as it is definition based all through out.
Read the whole text book, plus bonus readings (check the D2L site often because she posts things at random). There were 2 papers (individual and group), a poster, as well as in class mini papers (5 in my semester). Exhausting. Pay very close attention to her syllabus and assignment details, she won't answer q's twice. Very good, lively speaker.
She's nice all and seems like an easy prof, but don't let that deceive you. She's a very tough marker compared to other MKT400 profs and her final exam was significantly longer than the other sections. If I were you, pick a better prof or else you're gonna have to work hard for marks.
Her lectures are interesting, uses many examples that are updated & relevant to the topics. This class is time consuming! Involves weekly discussion assignment due in class, don't skip. Doesn't provide much clarity on the assignments, probably why class avg for most assignments were around 60%. , Overall, shes a tough marker.
Her lectures are very interesting and engaging. This course can be deceiving though; it seems straight forward but it's very time consuming as there are a number of small assignments along with a group project that equates to 50% of your grade. She marks quite hard on the assignments as well, but mid-term and final aren't too bad
She's knows her stuff but she's a pretty tough marker. Lectures are interesting and she only uses the time she needs. Mid terms and final were both fairly difficult.
She's an okay prof but she makes the course unnecessarily hard. The course material is very straight forward but yet the average for the paper and midterm were 60s. You have to study the textbook and powerpoints. Its half and half. Also there's alot of work which takes up alot of time so its a very time consuming course.
Fairly easy class to do well in if you go to class and study the text/lecture notes. Prof is nice in class but I had some bad experiences in meeting with her during office hours (very short with me and was just not in the mood to give me any feedback). I was nothing but nice to her but who knows, maybe she was having a bad few days.
shes an amazing proff helps the students and makes class fun by showing south park episodes but they are relavent to the material like clips showing persuasion... she also uses alot of good examples from different matterials on her own slides
