Alana Butler

I've taken three courses with her because she is the most wonderful prof! Don't be intimidated to ask for extensions because mostly likely she will allow it! Her tests are reasonable. Easy marker.

Alana is probably one of my absolute favourite professors at Ryerson. I have had her for three ECS courses so far and she is amazing! Not only is she the sweetest women alive, but she is also so dedicated to the field and the success of her students. She is very lenient with extensions and is a fair grader! Overall great person and professor.

Alana is an amazing prof. She knows what she's talking about, knows how to control a classroom, is very understanding and she offers extensions of up to 7 days!

She is an amazing prof! Approach, friendly, caring and funny! She allows her students to use technology in class (cellphones, laptops,etc) and encourages her students to use it! She makes an effort to get to know all the names in the class and to make a personal relationship with her students! Classes are interesting and never boring with her!

Extremely nice, friendly and approachable. My first time taking her class and would take it again. No textbook needed, all readings are online. Theres an option for group presentation or paper

Alana's literally the best. She is the true mvp at Ryerson, thats all I have say. Definitely the best prof at Ryerson University!! She actually wants you to succeed in her course, through her outlines and grading rubrics - letting you know what she wants, and what to expect on the assignments/tests/exams. #YOUDATRUEMVP
