Very blunt (I think it's because of all the students that he has to deal with) but also extremely funny. Really, all you have to do is watch the videos and do the work and its easy.

The content is easier than CHY 381 and he posts all the lecture slides and creates videos explaining all the concepts. His in-class lectures are good but he also asks a lot of questions in the expectation that students have watched his videos prior coming to class which isn't always doable. You can tell he cares though and he's good at teaching.

Hes so funny and his lectures, assignment, and quizzes are very clear if you follow his instructions. Easily pass every assignment and quiz. He can seem condescending because he sends out a lot of emails to remind people not to forget about sci180 and fail, but to me it was clearly humourous and just didn't want people to fail.

This prof is horrible!!! I emailed him and he was so rude about it, all i wanted was clarification and he started getting mad at me?? This is an easy course sure but this course is a waste of my time...The assignments take me forever it doesn't make sense to me.

Dr. Heyd is an amazing prof and you can see in through his lectures and explanations of concepts. His method of class was one where you watch lecture videos at home and had mandatory classes where we'd do practice problems. Best part about it its a free 10% to your grade. Overall, you have to have an interest or willingness in his class to succeed.

The course itself is very hard, however, attending his lectures made everything easier, reasonable, and more understandable. Follow his instructions, ATTEND LECTURES and you'll do better than you expect!

Hate him with my soul. Demon teacher, stupid course and idiotic school for making this class mandatory. Yes, its an easy grade, but the work is mundane, time consuming and annoying. Such a waste of time and energy, its literally a joke of a class and taught by a joke of a professor.

Just plain annoying to be honest. Sorry not sorry.

Didn't really understand his ways of teaching. He calls you out if he thinks your question is not "worth his time". Would't recommend taking his class to my worst enemy. Run and don't look back.

Amazing teacher
