No clear grading criteria. No logical marks distribution. The course is fun though, but yeah this course (grading specifically) will definitely tell you, why economists call themselves scientists while the rest of world the doesn't (they are just data analysts lol).
The gradings wont be fun! Don't expect a grading criteria or logic to be deployed while grading. The course is fun, markings won't be. Also you will be graded "how" you write things not "what" you wrote. Good luck
If you do not have an Econ or Fin background do not take her course, the course has no pre reqs but should because she expects everyone to already know macro econ and financial instruments, and teaches like it. Lectures are hard to follow, she gives little feedback, and is rude. Saving grace is the final exam is very easy if you went to lectures.
One day before final. The course is interesting itself, the prof is mid tho... thank goodness for the term paper and in class assessments.
she's nice but grades really hard for no reason, and she expects very specific answers, and even when you're correct she will disagree with you just to say the same point. she also talks the whole 3 hours with up to 5 min break
She doesn't have a clear grading system, she grades in a way that makes it super hard for students to even pass, the term paper was ridiculously vague and she gave no instructions for what she wanted. The class itself isn't bad the prof is the problem for this course. Take it with any other prof just not her she makes everything unnecessarily hard.
Keeps asking students for their "thoughts" feels more like she's collecting their ideas.
Did not learn anything. Also ambiguous outline for term paper probably made it easy to give bad marks.
