Adam is great, he's really funny and makes the lectures interesting and interactive. His class (IDN 204) is the reason I learned how to draw. Even though he doesn't really teach how to actually draw (which is what the whole class is about) he is pretty fair with the grading and gives good feedback.
What could I possibly say about Adam? Adam is my hero. Adam is the reason the sun rises every day. Wait - No. Adam is the sun. ADAM IS THE LIGHT KEEPING THIS PLANET AND EVERYONE ON IT ALIVE. Man saved my grade and was so understanding about everything I was going through during the school year!
A kind, funny, and understanding prof, loved his class. Assignments were time-consuming and he was very particular about the drawings but explained how to do everything in class and gave detailed step-by-step instructions which were super helpful. Gave very good marks and also sometimes gave us extensions. Would love to be in his class again.
Honestly, Adam is a great guy and well respected prof. Hard/fair grader but will give great feedback. Understanding projects instructions may be difficult, but he explains them well in lecture. Funny and keeps everyone inspired!
THE BEST PROFF ON EARTH LOVE HIM!!!
Adam is by far one of the most well respected profs at this school, and for good reason. He is blunt and a hard marker, but everything he says is honest and he wants you to succeed. He is one of the only professors that takes extra time out of their day to talk to students in the studio. Amazing!
I would frame all his emails, just because of their hilarious content. He is also just as inspirational and gives amazing feedback NO BOUNDARIES go crazy. If you don't love him you haven't had the chance to know him.
A very nice professor overall, but when it comes to marking, he is the toughest marker. Assignments every week, but gives decent feedback.
Don't take his critiques too personally he can sound harsh but really you didn't do as bad as you think you did. Funny prof but lecture is mostly just a group critique all work has to be down outside of class and there was a fair bit of it too. If you had any professional training in traditional art you'll be OK
