Paul Walsh

Pretty great prof for aer416, takes time to explain things. The only thing I didn't like was that he doesn't include examples in his slides; he goes through them after finishing each set of slides, which can be a bit hard to follow on really long slides. Quizzes, the midterm, and the final were pretty fair, imo

The professor is clear in explaining and takes his time to teach all content in Flight Mechanics. The tutorials are very important to attend to and the suggested lecture problems posted it. These problems are similar to the exams. But the most important thing is the theory as a big portion of the marks are from the multiple choice.

For AER416: Professor Walsh is a kind and caring teacher. If you go to the lectures and do all the lecture problems/recommended problems, you'll do good on the midterm and final. He allows a cheat sheet for everything, and grades fairly. Also ended up rounding my A to an A+. Very nice prof.

Paul Walsh is great in his plan how to take the subject into students with providing relevant industry top class examples, which makes grad students to understand the real challenges in engineering. He is always there to lend you support and helps you through out the course. great human as well. Only thing he has continues lecture without a break.

Very approachable and fair. Knows his stuff and does a decent job explaining difficult concepts.
