Out of all the profs I have had during this program I don't think I've had one I respect less. Reads from slides, barely explains the slides then blames people who did bad on tests for not coming to class (even though it wouldn't help). No part marks on tests too. Just all around bad teacher, he clearly has knowledge but is bad at educating

Most of the lecture consists of him reading out slides. Little to no class time is spent on application or examples. It is very hard to get a sense of how well you understand the material because aside from a couple of assignments there is nothing to go off of. The worst and laziest prof in the most complex course of the semester. Reads directly from the slides, no good tests, no good assignments. He is basically setting you up to get slaughtered in the final. Get ready to befriend your textbook.

Reads word for word from the slides and doesn't share the slides with the class. Does no class examples and lists broad key topics that you need to know but with no explanations. Asks for derivations of complex theories with no prior explanations . Does not give marks back to anything submitted.

This prof's communication outside class is practically nothing. If you're not attending class you're not getting grades for your tests and assignments. I found that if I missed a class and lost focus in class I was screwed because I really needed to focus to understand the course content. His notes are great but they're not enough alone.

He's a good prof to talk to outside of class (just email him for an appointment first) about grad school vs. work. He's well connected in the industry and is willing to help students who put in effort. Fair marker; usually says he won't give part marks but ends up doing it anyway.

He is useless . Office hours are his time to fix printers and check stock markets. He wont teach you.

Quite influential, to the extent that his classes helped me choose the career I am pursuing now. Passionate about the material, hence the lectures were very interesting. Always used to look forward to his classes. Amazing at grading exams, makes the most difficult concepts so easy to understand. Lecture scripts very helpful! Class always full!

Amazing prof. His clarity is kind of bad because his mother language isnt english. But if you go to his office and ask for help he will definitely make sure u understand the theory. Really fair marker

Not a bad prof.. although you will fall asleep in class. However, consider going to every class because he will remember your face and whether you were in his lectures... marks will reflect that
