I did not like this professors teaching style. He is brash and confusing. There were several mistakes in the online modules that I asked for clarification on and I genuinely feel like he held that against me with my final grade. This is supposed to be an intro course but you're expected to be an expert in accounting.

Currently taking his class online and I can say that he is one of the worst professors here in Ryerson. He doesn't care for students, midterm was online and wasn't too bad, but I'm certain the final exam is going to be killer. His online lectures are straight up useless so you need to have some sort of accounting background to do well. AVOID HIM!!!

Marks really hard, questions on tests were worded poorly. On a question that involves the effect on the basic accounting equation he will not give you part marks if for example you get the one of the accounts right. Final is monster. I get time/half and could not finish. Only gives two days of the week to do the online weekly quiz. He bell curves.

Much easier than accounting in actual school. Mid-term and exam was fair. A lot of learning on your own but if you read the chapter ahead you should be able to do them.

Didn't watch his online lectures because I was taking 4 other courses in the summer and was swamped, so can't attest to his teaching style. Quizzes and midterm were online and so easy but the final was written and worth 70%. Not having practiced the material by hand made it 10x harder. I think this course would be easier taken in class.

Very surprised to find such negative reviews, I thought he was quite good! Gave good feedback. Lectures were brief & to the point, but w/ plenty of time for questions. I got the feeling he really did not want anyone to be left behind - BUT that doesn't mean a pass on doing the work. Do the work, you'll get a good grade. Slack & you won't.

Decent prof, overall was happy with him but the course you must participate and keep up or you will fall behind!

I did ACC at high school and got average marks even though I did not try. In online version, I got an average mark in the Wiley midterm but got 13% in final . The second time I take it with the same professor, I got 90% in the midterm, and failed the final with 45% . It is a really easy but the final is bad & it seems the prof does not know ACC.

At first I was hesitant to take this course based on his reviews. It's not too bad, you just have to learn on your own. The course is not bad, it's the prof who is horrible. He doesn't care about his students at all. I asked him to help me with something but he wouldn't do anything. His heart is stone-cold and he's not willing to help you at all.
