He lost my final exam, expected me to track it down, and when I proved that his TA had picked it up and delivered it to him, he offered me an average grade. His office was always messy and he certainly lost it in there. He got quite angry when I brought the dean into our email chain. I'm surprised he's still teaching.
The class is asynchronous so you have to do the work on your own but he is good, everything is clear.
The prof really doesn't care. Which is good and bad. His TAs mark the 20% essay extremely harshly for no reason and he doesn't care at all. 40% midterm and 40% exam, all mc and online but they're not that easy. I learnt nothing useful from this class, but it's a doable A (not A+)
course was asynchronous & had hefty readings. graded by 1 paper and 2 exams, the stakes are high. I thought they were okay, but they were very specific questions, sometimes trick questions which I thought was unnecessary. prof is generally absent for clarification, but generally it was ok. you might just actually have to do the readings.
This professor is lazy and has no lectures and just gives readings instead. The exams are pretty hard and the essays are marked hard (it's one of those profs who think unless you go above and beyond you don't deserve an A grade). He is not really accommodating and a hard marker.
Elmer Fudd. He's ok.
Definitely take this class if you're looking for an easy elective. It was asynchronous and you're graded on 40% midterm, 40% final exam and 20% essay. Everything was straight forward, this professor does not try to trick you. He posted a video before the midterm to let us know what to expect and the midterm was exactly as he said. Overall good.
Super easy, online-only class. From the midterm to the final exam, I did not watch a single lecture video until a week or so before the final, where I then studied for a bit. Finished with an A+.
Great guy, his class was completely online and I had no contact with the prof which is great for some people! Sometimes I forgot that I was even in the class, that's how independent it is. a lot of reading and online three assignments: essay, midterm, and final. probably would've done better myself if it wasn't so independent, lol. 10/10
