Honestly the people who are complaining about Amborski are wrong. The only valid complaints with him are that he does have a tendency to ramble and he does have messy writing on the board. If you do the readings though and try to pay attention in class it won't matter. He's a great prof.
He has a nice personality, he knows his stuff, but he is a bad teacher. He can not teach concepts at all. Beware he has no slideshows, and what he writes on the board is messy and is not enough. The tests are hard. The only reason I did okay was because I bought the textbook and read everything from there, students who didn't buy the textbook fail
He isn't really clear as his lectures are vague and hard to understand. He posts very long readings as well making it hard to figure out which points are the most important. Not enough time is given during exams.
Tests are difficult. He doesn't post specifics on what is going to be on the mid term or final exam. Also, he does not give enough time for tests, half the class barley finished the mid term.
Great guy. Anyone who doesn't like him doesn't put any time or effort into the course. Amborski is extremely approachable and very understanding.
Knows his stuff - just shouldn't be teaching as he can't convey it properly to students!
Hard to understand, constantly going off on tangents. He seemed nice, as well as knowledgeable, but he's not a great teacher. Did not prepare us for the mid-term.
Awesome guy, knows his stuff... down to earth, easy to talk to, and you can always go to him for help - he's very resourceful.
Ambo is really nice and easy to talk to...however, that being said his lectures make NO sense and the exam is based soley on the guest lectures and the lists from the readings..i learned NOTHING about implementation in this class...waste of time.
Really really nice guy. I'm so glad he's head of the program. Just wish he could take Kosney down!!! Seriously, he's very helpful, approachable, smart, and supportive. Great prof.!
