Margaret Plaza

This course is a piece of cake, but id recommend a tutor or tutoring yourself if you have Plaza. As nice and sweet as she is, shes not the best when it comes to teaching, but don't worry if you have questions in class because she is always ready to go back a few slides and clear anything up. I wouldnt pay attention to lectures bc my tutor taught me

Weekly quizzes and homework with 2 attempts each. She's so caring and offers extensions for anyone that asks for one. She doesn't move on from concepts unless the majority understands and offers to stay back after class to help out. She isn't the best at explaining concepts so practice a lot!! - Coming from someone that always struggled with math.

Nice prof, but hard to understand; her tests are pretty straightforward, not too hard

She is a very kind person but her teaching style is very hard to understand. Found myself having to use other resources to learn the material.

Dr. Plaza is a kind person who looks out for her students but she is not the best at explaining things during the lecture. Her slides are confusing so you'll need the textbook to make sense of the content. She really does her best in the lectures but theyre kind of useless. I gave up on studying for this course after the midterm and I'm doing well.

This prof. is nice and helpful but she is not for doing this job because it's very hard to understand her when she instructs also her slides are very messy and not understandable.

Guys avoid taking her probably the worst prof at ryerson... she literally cant even speak, it really hard to understand her... also her test are pretty hard especially the 2nd test so good luck��

Overall, one of the best profs I had this semester. She was understanding and had weekly quizzes and assignments as it helped prepare for the tests and exams. The powerpoints can be confusing, I suggest using the textbook to clarify concepts. She was kind and would often be helpful when stuck or confused about something.

Professor Plaza was very straight forward on how marks were accumulated once you figured it out. You gain extra marks for Zoom polls and be prepared for a "quiz" and "assignment" for every lecture. Tests were easy compared to the quizzes and she was easy to get hold of if needed.

Horrible, Computer lags when she has over 70 zoom participants. Bad at explaining topics.
