Colin Ripley

Really sweet prof, very passionate. A bit of a tough grader and sometimes sent out very vague instructions for projects. Was tough to get ahold of him to ask for clarification, but if you managed to he was very clear with question answers.

He is very pretentious and passive-aggressive. He sugarcoats his insults to seem like he isn't a rude person but he's just downright rude and degrading. He is the type of person that shows that he is being helpful without actually being helpful at all.

A very charismatic and inspirational professor, it was an honour and pleasure being his student. I get a sense that he has a great appreciation for creativity.

Regardless of your strengths colin gets you to push yourself. At no point in the semester was he rude nor did he come our arrogant. He doesnt care where you work as long as your design progresses and you get his feedback. Hes a hard marker, but for a good reason. Honest grader. I would take him again. You need to think about everything around him

Amazing prof! Had him for 2nd year studio and he was really helpful with my design, doesn't push you towards something that you don't like and doesn't tell you answers straight away. He will give you hints and let you solve your problems yourself.

This man is not a good teacher. He is unreliable because he sets up rules he breaks himself.

Really wants his students to understand, and ORGANIZED, what Ryerson Arc needs. Passionate and hires useful staff.
