The course itself is kind of dreadful but he is very helpful if you go to his office hours.
Unorthodox class. Don't skip classes, you will fail.
Offers no help on the research proposal. The course is structured extremely poorly, and assignments are due without having much time to prepare for them.
Very boring lectures - not inspiring at all
All you do in his course is learn how to write one big "Research" project, which is essentially a big lab report because the format is the same. The professor also marks really hard. The course has almost nothing to do with occupational or public health. Lectures only last 1 month. You feel like you wasted a big chunk of you tuition money on this!
I was only at Ryerson for a semester (on exchange), but this Professor was the highlight of the semester. Planning Theory wasn't a class I expected to enjoy, but he made the class interesting. He engaged the class, managed to get people to talk, and somehow made the subject funny. He also has an epic moustache.
This prof is totally amazing, great teaching style and epic mustache lol keep it up Pushchak!
Great Professor! He is a lecturer and to do well you need to show up to classes. Brings new ideas to class every week, information that is current and relevant. I wish they were all like him.
Completely brilliant professor and on a personal level, a wonderful guy. Cool, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. A true inspiration to the field!
