She seemed very sweet and friendly in person, which gave me a positive first impression. Her feedback on assignments often felt passive-aggressive and harsh. She is also an extremely strict grader, which made the course more stressful than expected. I would have appreciated feedback that was more constructive and supportive rather discouraging.
She is disorganized and unclear. Her assignments do not have clear guidelines and her feedback is VERY harsh. She is strict about her notes and slides (no photos/videos), and gives a lot of her lecture content verbally that isn't on the slides. The class is unnecessarily hard for no reason.
She's seems sweet when you talk to her but is extremely passive agressive when providing in-line feedback on assignments. Assignment expectations are unclear, and she is a tough grader. I would avoid her if possible
Very picky about certain details in running and anecdotal records. Reading quizzes were actually really hard, questions came from one random sentence in like 30 pages. She's not that bad though. If anything, just attend classes with records and quizzes. And the practice activities with feedback really do help.
This professor only gives critiques and does not explain how to fix them. Can be very passive aggressive.
Doest know how to explain what she is teaching
This prof is my least favourite prof i've ever had.Her exam was 40% she gave a verbal exam review that was awful and did not help. Her exam had abcd all right answers and u have to choose the best answer. She would say i'm not answering questions over email only zoom and then when u tried to set up a zoom she said u should have came to class..I went
While she is nice, she is very unorganized. She does not explain her slides adequately and skips through them, awhile not posting the slides, and jokes she made them with ChatGPT. Her explanations for her assignments are confusing, and she does not outline them properly in her expectations, contradicting herself constantly.
She has unclear expectations and contradicts herself. She doesn't post her slides and doesn't allow you to take photos of them. She yelled at a student for using her phone and said, "If you aren't going to pay attention in the class, get out." While I'm sure she's nice outside of school, she is not great as a professor. Avoid her if you can.
Prof. is clear cut with instructions, kindly giving feedback and help, and clearly wants to see her students succeed. The quizzes are short and sweet and if the small amount of reading is read and understood then they are rather easy also. Participation is mandatory since what you learn is KEY to the field. Great class, excellent Prof!
