Overall, the course isn't terrible, I ended with a decent mark. There was an incident during the midterm where he didn't start the exam until an hour after it was supposed to start, and that screwed over a bunch of people. My advice is to start studying EARLY. I dedicated the entire month of August studying for the 65% final.

AVOID THIS TEACHER IF YOU CAN! He doesn't teach and you are likely going to fail if you dont have finance background. I'm not sure what is the role of this guy in this course except for getting paid from our money. I used to think 'TEACHERS' are there to 'TEACH' Course is 100% self study. Here's a summary of this useless money waste course: You pay the school to admit. They tell you after the course starts that the professor is NOT GOING TO TEACH ANYTHING. You have to pay a third party website and use their material to get grades cuz prof doesn't want to do the work himself. Don't waste your money here. This is SALE OF CREDITS!

Professor Currie is a kind person. If you email him about a confusing question he will do his best to assist you. The exams are very difficult, and not similar to the labs at all. He also doesn't teach you how to use the calculator, which is crucial in this course and you will not succeed without it. Hard course in general be ready to work.

Took his Online Class. THE worst instructors I've ever had. He does not provide online lectures. His online class notes are not very comprehensive. Questions on the homework and the exam are WAY harder than examples in the textbook; did not give us ANY ideas on the kinds of questions we should expect on the exams. Avoid at all costs.

VERY bad professor. Does not teach, only takes up practice questions. Gave me LOTS of attitude when I wanted to review my midterm because he didn't like the fact that I didn't attend class often (I wish I could attach screenshots lol). In fact, his bad teaching is why I didn't attend. My grades and understanding improved after I stopped attending..

He does not teach. He just assigns textbook questions to complete in class. Exams are nothing like the myLab Assignments or HW Questions. He does not bell curve. The Class average for both the Midterm and Final was 50%. Semester began with 42 students and ended with 20, that says it all. If you pass just celebrate that he will never teach you again

teaches outside of the book, so you have more than 1 way to get the answer. Sometimes tips are much better, sometimes it can be convoluted. 1 thing is for sure,he always gets back to you with any questions via email AS LONG as you show you tried to do the work. He only takes up homework questions, but for clarification you can always ask him.
