Very good, clear lectures. Best kind of professor for subjects like statistics where you may be lacking confidence. He is very responsive to emails. Would take a course by him again. This is only my second time ever writing a review.
Very good professor, interesting and charismatic lecturer, explains concepts clearly. Grades reasonably and gives good feedback. I'd absolutely take another course taught by him.
One of my favourite profs!! Interesting lectures, they are long, but he gives 10 min breaks every hour. He tries to make class as entertaining as possible and even gives treats sometimes. His midterms and exams are easy if you attend class and review the slides, and he marks well for assignments too.
I took this course over a year ago but I chose to have him again this semester for PSY411! He's an amazing prof and the way he teaches is very easy to learn and follow. Would take him again a million times again!
He brought snacks and treats related to the course that helped me retain the information which was unique but also really helpful. I genuinely enjoyed his lectures especially because he says that if you need to take his lecture time to sleep you can, which I didn't need but appreciated. I would love a professor like him for every course.
Best professor I have had. I want to switch my major becuase of him. His lecture are always interseting. He uses interesting activites to make us grasp concepts. He once offered us salted crickets to eat as an "experiment" just to mention one. I would recommend him for anyone taking psy102.
He really cares about his students and keeps every lecture interactive/interesting.
Incredible prof. Very engaging class, interactive/hands on studies, interesting slideshows, and a very kind man in general. You can tell he really cares about his students and how they do.
Stephan Want is the role model that all professors should follow. He was interesting and funny, and he made 3 hour lectures feel like 30 minutes. He's engaging and often has the class participate in activities. He is fair in his marking, and provided all you needed and more for your assignments. My goat, my hero.
Very kind and helpful, understands students who struggle with anxiety. Tries to make lectures fun and has a website where u can ask questions during class without disrupting if ur shy. Also we got the option to eat a cricket (It was salt and vinegar flavoured).
