Finally gone!!
Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude. Had him as one of the judges for plant design (not even my personal prof) and the comments he made are completely inappropriate, mocking and degrading. This is not what Im paying lots of money for to hear. He doesnt know how to use zoom and blames students that he cant see. Full of himself . Avoid!!!
This prof doesn't know anything how to use zoom. He's very disorganized. Doesn't know how to share his s screen and blames his students for not being able to see his screen. He takes off marks for small things. Avoid his courses when they are online especially. He's not organized and it'll be a waste of your money and time.
I had this prof for my plant design course and he constantly forgets what he says in the previous lecture. If you are a person of visible minority he will make it significantly harder for you. I was the only Asian in a group of 5 white guys, and he kept telling me to participate even though others were quiet for the entire lecture.
He was one of the judges for the capstone project. Unfortunately, his comments are are not constructive at all.
There's no doubt that he knows what he's talking about, however, he gets off topic a lot of the time and thus wastes class time. His tests are based off of his notes, so as long as you study those, you shouldn't have a problem. He hates it when students are talking at the same time as him and he WILL CALL YOU OUT on it.
I disagree with the two part assessment provided. Look, with all due respect he explains the material well when topic. When he does venture off topic and makes questionable remarks about his students, he loses points. Follow his slides and go through everything he provides you carefully. If you have them, I suggest avoiding lecture.
Prof for serious students - Pt1. Will introduce himself, including academic/industrial credentials. Encourages self-directed learning. No specific text; a list of recommended ones. Lecture slides are a guideline. Asks individuals questions to probe their knowledge/attention. Periodically shifts topic to re-start students' attention span.
I don't think he is a bad professor. He does talk about general stuff but his examples are related to his topics. I like him so far.
He thinks he is the smartest man in the universe and all others are wrong and Imbecile. The mark you get on your exams depends on his mood when marking your paper. If you be lucky you might get good grade (chances are low).
