I took FNN 111 as an open elective during the winter semester and I must say it was the best thing ever. Asynchronous class. Watch lecture vid (short vids) and do the quizzes (VERY EASY). One assignment at the end (super easy). You are able to get an A+ by doing the bare minimum and you can finish the course in a few days/weeks. Prof is amazing!!!

Best open elective i have ever taken! Honestly there is not much to say i was so shocked about how easy this course was. The lectures were all online & prerecorded, they were really informative and she explained everything so well! just 12 quizzes &1 assignment. The quizzes are based on the slides and were ververy easy. Honestly an Easy A. Loved it

I enjoyed Dr. Paisley's class. Fully synch, 12 mc quizzes and one 3-day-food diary. Prof is accessible out of class and understanding. Her lectures are very informative and I actually learned a lot of really helpful and relevant information. Would 100% recommend taking this class- put in the effort though and don't slack off!

My best open elective ever. No exams really an easy class. Did all the quizzes last minute and still did good.

Overall, decent prof. Her explanation regarding assignments isn't clear at all. The course consists of prerecorded lectures, (12 quizzes m/c & final movement assignment). Marks hard with no given rubric or feedback. Only took this class because it was distant class.

-very PC and very narrow-minded -AVOID HER CLASSES AT ALL CLASS -you are wrong and she is always right, you have been warned

She's a great professor! I had her for FND401 and really wanted to take her Communication course because of her teaching style. Tough course... but worth it! She provides a lot of support and feedback for assignments and projects.

Completely unfair with her super tough exams. She is definitely intimidating and spits smart-witted comments at you.. so be careful. Definitely felt racialized with her. Her nutritional assessment is easy however.

Although her exams were almost at an unfair level of difficulty, she was an INCREDIBLE prof- very funny, and extremely interesting. She is truly a gifted communicator, and knows how to explain things so that you will understand them, and remember them.

Really good professor! Exams were really hard and small details are important. She has a great sense of humor and makes the material easy to understand.
