Great professor! He explained concepts clearly and went through in-class questions very thoroughly, which made it easier to understand the material. The midterm and final (online in the comp lab in Pearson) had no surprises and were very similar to the homework and Pearson practice questions. I would definitely take another course with him again!

Really great prof! He goes over questions in class which prepare you very will for the exam! I won't change anything about his lectures, teaching style, and exams. He makes you feel competent and well-equipped for the exams. Make sure you practice the questions he takes up in class and the practice questions he provides to do really well!

Solid prof. Just wish he made the classes more interactive, and asks for answers, what the next step is, etc. I find that really beneficial for my learning and I'm sure many agree. Midterm was fair though; got a 98%.

ig he switched up because he does not give any part/method marks, if your final answer is wrong you will get a 0. this course is very hard you need to put in a lot of work to get a decent mark. he sort of reuses tests but still takes some stuff out that you need to solve for prior to the actual question. only pro is reusing tests; take another prof

I got an A+ in this course and he had nothing to do with it, genuinely taught myself all the content. Go to class if you want to be INTRODUCED to the concepts but in-class question difficulty is nothing compared to tests and exams. Your textbook will be your friend do the questions at the end of each chapter and don't worry about him.

He doesn't care about process marks, if your final answer is wrong, it's an automatic zero no matter what you did. He barely responds to emails properly, so don't expect help. The only reason he gave partial marks on the final is because other profs did. If you can take any other prof

This prof was not that bad, he went straight to the point and used excel for all of his classes. come to the class and you'll be fine

stay away. you will fail this course because of him. he marks extremely harshly and does not provide part marks. he also makes mistakes in marking too so watch out for that. be aware your final will be brutal and he will not curve it

Very tough grader, no mercy given if you make minor mistakes in a question. If you get everything up to the final answer right, but the answer itself is wrong, you get 0 marks on the question. Does the absolute bare minimum when teaching in class. Biggest takeaway should be that if you're not putting 110% into the class, your mark will suffer.

I don't blame profs for my lack of effort, in fact I studied so hard for both his midterms and still managed to lose 7-10 marks on both because he's a bad marker! He doesn't carry over any method marks, despite the fact that he mostly only teaches method in class with his 2-3 very basic questions in class for each chapter. (1/4)
