She records her lectures. She is also understanding, her notes are okay, and explains well.
Her lectures are boring, but she records them so you could watch in 2x speed. Her slides are all scribbled on so it can be hard to review after lectures. Overall she is very understanding and is a fair marker.
Boring professor, easy to sleep in classes, and teaches at 300 miles an hour. Some concepts in this class require time to be fully absorbed which were not provided in her lectures. Most effective way to study for this course is through watching her lecture recordings and taking notes accordingly. She is a decent explainer but needs to go slower.
Many of the ratings on here are from students who did not attend her lectures. Many of her slides were straight forward and she explained the course content pretty well.
Olivia Das is a good lecturer, but I know you're either skipping or not paying attention anyways. Her labs in the course were graded very strictly, but her exams are very fair and generally easy. People still think this is a course they already know since they've programmed before, but this one is all new stuff that you've probably ever heard of.
Professor Olivia is one of the universities best profs. Her lectures are great and marking is completely fair. Study well for the tests
Olivia Das is a really great. Her lectures are good and she posts great slides and material. Her midterm was kind of hard though but otherwise, I think she as a prof is great! (ALSO WOMEN IN STEM).
Solid teaching (would have been better if most of the lectures weren't past recordings but they cover the content well). Midterm/fina questions were easy and relevant, but the caveat was that they were to be marked very harshly so every tiny mistake would cost you points. The labs are the most important practical part of the course so focus on them
This prof was alright when it came to the slides and her notes. Staying organized was difficult because she switched between slides and separate notes for every lecture. The tests were unfair and a lot of what was tested was unseen. The group project was fun, long, and interesting. If you end up with a fair group, managing the time given was fine.
lol most lazy and uncaring prof ever. she literally just posted last year lectures and her lectures are boring. rip to anyone who is forced to take her class
