One of the worst profs to ever take this class with.
Don't expect good feedback or a grade above 85%
Very hard grader I would suggest switching profs ASAP highest grade I got was a 75 and this was putting max effort in. Had a friend in the same course different prof that was much nicer and graded much better then Sheila. DO NOT TAKE HER
Switch profs if you can. Assignments were fairly easy if you started early enough, but the way this prof grades is beyond me. Never gotten more vague feedback from anyone. Never received a grade higher than a 75% despite following the handouts and guides to a tee. Course is meant to be easy but this prof made it my hardest course first semester.
This course was extremely easy, but with this prof it was beyond difficult. I worked my ahh off on every single assignment, and honestly thought they were at least worth 90% but my grades did not exceed 80 at the highest. her feedback would tell me that i did a "very good job" but the 75% grade did not reflect that. if you have her, switch/drop.
She is honestly the worst prof I have ever taken. The course itself was fairly easy but the way she grades, you will never receive a grade in the 80s or if you do, it's so rare.
I took CMN279 expecting it to be easy, but with Rosenberg, IT IS NOT! I followed instructions, yet did not receive the grade I expected. The feedback is overall vague and unhelpful. The course content and assignments themselves are great and genuinely applicable to future jobs, and studies in the communications field, BUT avoid with Rosenberg.
this instructor does not help at all and expects you to do perfect and even if you do perfect she will still give you 75.
Theres a reason she is a online professor, not good enough at her job to teach in person. Marks way too hard. CMN279 is a very easy course she just marks super strict and doesnt give marks over 78. I would rather eat bricks than take her class again.
CMN279 featured tons of reading, and little instruction. While I did well in the course, there was little feedback provided on assignments, which was frustrating. There is a lot of reading to do in this course, because there are no lectures. The content is good, the delivery is less than ideal. Textbook was free. Not as hard a grader as others say.
