SOOO boring. I dont know why hes teaching. He does nothing and doesnt care about any complaints students bring to him about internship, nor does he lift a finger to do anything. He even took half the year to go on vacation, thanks Sheldon.
Sheldon seems like a very nice man, and clearly has a lot of experience in the field, but he is not and should not be a professor. He did not actually teach us anything in class. He barely went over any content, and just posted lecture notes online that other profs teaching the same course made. Read the textbook and you'll be fine.
Great sense of humour, laid back, ends class early, gives extensions (literally gave me a 3 week extension), marks easy, and posts a summary of the textbook, and has a lifetime of child & youth care experience... what else can you ask for in a prof?
Sheldon was great at bringing his own experiences in the field. Not all of his topics are exam relevant however he is extremely helpful and charismatic.
Very nice guy however he did a poor job of clarifying the course material. The textbook is your best friend, so make sure to read it and take notes. He posts his lectures online, just doesnt go over them in class.
Although Professor Sheldon is a great professor who is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, he does not go over the material needed for the exam. He has guest speakers each week and dismisses us early almost every week. The textbook is not necessary as he posts a detailed summary of each chapter.
We had guest speakers every single lecture after the 2nd week so don't bother showing up to lectures. He does not teach the material at all but at least provides detailed weekly slides.
Interesting class- I wish we had focused more on the material and had less guest speakers. He did not really teach us the material we needed to know for the exam.
Sheldon was a fabulous professor! He was very kind and helpful towards all the students. His lectures were very inspirational and fun! I hope to have him again in the future!
