Professor is really bad. Avoid at all costs.
Prof Gu's lectures are very unorganized and teaches none of the material necessary to survive in this course. He blames students for getting bad grades but never blames his poor teaching style and lack of examples in class. Definitely switch profs
Prof wasn't very accommodating, especially during a pandemic, and the lectures didn't cover enough examples. The textbook didn't help much either. Try following the course schedule with Sadiku's Fundamentals of Electric Circuits and you might stand a chance.
This guy does not know how to teach. He just writes stuff down in his lectures and doesn't even explain what he is doing unless someone asks. The midterm average was 40%, which is mostly because of him but he acts like it's the fault of the students. In my opinion profs like these need training on how to teach and treat students.
This professor shows clear disregard for his students, he does not care for exam fairness and would rather blame an entire failing class (133 students with an average of 40%) that it is due to their work ethic rather than question the difficulty of a midterm or even the contents of his lecture. Awful, does not compromise or consider his students.
He is good but online does not fit him!
Don't bother attending this man's lectures unless you want to be more confused with the material. Your TA will be a more useful teacher. Study off the slides, textbook and Youtube - you should pass with flying colors. Labs/quizzes are free marks & straightforward. His exam questions are ripped from the textbook which are slightly harder.
His lectures are horrible, the best thing about the course are the labs because theyre straight forward. he teaches very slow and does not know how to use zoom. like one backround noise and he stops for 10 min
Great Professor, really cares about his students. He has several hundred, but if you go to see him in office hours he will help you as much as you can. I got a 49% on my Ele 202 midterm, but I discovered many mistakes in the marking by the T.A. He sat down with me on zoom for 2 hours and marked it correctly! I ended up with a 75% in the end
Terrible professor. Has a very thick accent. Didn't even let me see my midterm. Does not explain things well.
