Dr. Paton didn't do much teaching in this course, as it is led by student facilitation. She is however always there to answer questions. She is not very clear on assignment criteria initially and will post the rubric for the assignment the day before it is due. If you ASK about what she expects on an assignment, she will tell you though.
She is distant from class. Lectures were student facilitated anyways, and material was dry and boring. She didn't give much help for exam.
She's a nice prof that's pretty funny. She didn't teach the class much since the course was based on student facilitation - which didn't help with preparing for exams. The midterm was impossible and difficulty to write. She doesn't inform us much about papers or tests. She's an alright prof and fair marker.
Wonderful teacher, best ever! trust me! awesome, approachable, nice, outgoing, has interesting classes and is caring person. Love her!!
Great prof, actually made leadership interesting. would defiantly take another class with Sharon.
prof is probably one of my top picks for best profs throughout my 4 years. Although she may look strict, talk strict, she only does so you can LEARN. Overall, she's a very nice and helpful person. I would have taken another course with her if I could!
Sharon made me think of Nursing Leadership as my next going career, she was fun, helpful and knows her stuff. I think Sharon has lots of experience and that is what make her the best teacher. You will surely get what you worked hard for...top notch
Very clear on what she wants on assignments. Fair marker-make sure facilitation is creative and fun and she'll love it! Awesome teacher!
Sharon was extremely helpful, generous, approachable, and all the qualities that make only a small number of profs at Ryerson so effective!
Fantastic professor. Sharon's class was very inspiring. Additionally, Sharon was very helpful and supportive throughout the semester.
