Dan Pacella

He now teaches at Towson University. He is difficult and is all over the place. He is the only teacher I have that just stands and lectures without any notes on the bored or powerpoints. Everything he talks about is in the textbooks but its hard to keep up. He is a little all over the place. He is learning though to teach a first level course.

Sad ryerson is losing a great professor dan was great and is a great professor for history

Dan is so interesting! He is hilarious; intelligent and down to earth. He never fails to throw in a life story to put things in perspective and remind you that we may be studying history of the world but we actively live it too. Great Class; Dashingly handsome prof with a great smile- Great Scenario all in all! 10/10!

Honestly, in the beginning I disliked this course and thought it was taught in a boring manner. But as the weeks progressed, I began to appreciate Pacella's humour! dry but hilarious! Sometimes his lectures were all over the place. I'm sure there are more effective history profs that teach cold war, but Dan is still just a young pup.. he'll improve over time. On a side note, he is by far the best looking professor at Ryerson.. that made his class more enjoyable. :)

There is nothing too hard about this class. If you put just a bit of effort into his class you will get an easy B. He does mark a bit hard, but the topics are somewhat dry so can be a bit tough to be creative when writing.

Marks hard. Unprofessional lectures. Not a rock star but he doesn't know it.

Dan was a great prof. He was really interested in what he was teaching and always willing to go out of his way to help you in any way he could. Though he marked a little tough, he made it clear what he expected in assignments and essays. I would definately take another class of his.

Dan is hot & great at teaching. Definitely worth taking a class of his!
