Lev Kirischian

one of the nicest profs ever! he tries teaching you more than just the theory in his lectures, and his tests are exactly what you'd expect. wish he took 8th sem courses too

As a teacher, Lev is okay. As a coordinator, he makes assessments super easy. However, Lev is a great man who understands engineering and people very well. Lev is so passionate about everything he does which may distract from the course content. He is worth attending to just to hear his wisdom and kindness. Truly the thousandth man.

Dr. Kirischian is a gem. There aren't many profs like him. He wants what's best for his students. He doesn't just want to deliver the content and go home, he wants you to actually learn and benefit. His exams are always the same format so just make sure to do the previous exams 100 times. Super friendly guy and I wish him all the best.

Attend the reviews, know what is going to come up on his tests for the midterm and exams. He is a good marker, and if you understand/study the topics that will show up on the tests you will perform well. His classes really focus a lot on the theory and broaden your understanding of the material.

Lev is truly a walking encyclopedia of engineering knowledge and expertise. If you see his name on any course, choose him. You won't regret it.

Lev is a very good professor; he prioritizes the theory behind microprocessors to give students knowledge that can be applied to other microprocessors than the HCS12; he is always willing to help with the course and often offers extra hours. If you have any questions, course or design-related, he will answer. He is truly an engineer.

He is chill and if you need advice you can just ask. His lectures are good.

People complain that they don't get enough technical knowledge from his lectures but this isn't the case. His talks paired with lab materials is more than enough. As for his lectures, they're legendary and some of the best you'll get at TMU/Rye from a true industry O.G.; midterm/final exam were very easy. The labs are the real challenge this course
