Heads up, she tells you the exam is on everything after the midterm but when you get there its cumulative.
took this class to complete my human resources certificate requirement. Class had several assignment components- so the course load was quite heavy- but in the end it was very worthwhile- learned about the principles of putting together a training program. Very good instructor- likes what she does- and you can tell in the way she teaches.
Really good course learned a lot even though it was on line..group work is difficult on line
really good elearning course- but lots of work- good teacher -she answers emails fast..learned alot about training- its not as easy as it looks
Took the elearning class she is super responsive and fair
interesting teacher..heavy coursework though..but gives you a good understanding of what is needed to know to be a corporate trainer. one of my favourite courses in the certificate program
i took this class with prof jakupi because my friend told me it was interesting and shes a good prof. she was right- it was well taught and a very interesting introduction to training . covers all the areas of training.
lucy is a very good teacher; she's very busy with her day job but makes time to teach at ryerson- really energetic- and knows her stuff..if training is your thing- take it with lucy jakupi
if you want to be a corporate training or do components of training take professor lucy's class. she really enjoys training you can tell- she tells one story after another about her experiences in training. I suggest taking it if she teaches in class vs hybrid bc- you probably get more stories-
