The prof will pick on you during class to answer questions, which shows he wants you to learn and that he remembers students' names. He literally gives the questions that will appear on the midterm and exam during the review. Make sure to do the "review" multiple times. You will pass, don't drop the course.
He started out as quite a good professor in the beginning of the semester. Unfortunately, he fell behind on content, so he had to start rushing through everything, making it very hard to follow during lectures to the point where I decided just to self-study using the textbook.
Amazing lectures that are extremely useful. Donatus is an amazing prof that actually cares about student's academics and he's extremely genuine and funny. Assignments are essential as midterms and exams are very similar to the assignments and the assignments are do-able with the lectures he provides. Definitely recommend Donatus.
Don is a nice guy but consider getting another professor as he is not the most effective teacher. He puts effort into explaining the concepts. The examples he shows in class and the assignments are pretty simple, but the midterm/exam are really tough and I felt the course material does not prepare you for evaluations.
As a person, I love Don. He is kind and funny person, however, when it comes to teaching I think his teaching style is not the best. Throughout the course I ended up not coming to his classes, but don't get me wrong, he is always there to help you understand concepts and he is a great person. It'll depend on you if you can understand his teaching
Don is one of the best professors in Ryerson. He was always very helpful. Attendance is not mandatory But highly recommended since he throughly explains the concepts. from his first class, you will realize that he is one of those professors that genuinely care about the students that want their students to suceed.
Prof Don is a very nice person, and he's willing to help you outside of class for course content and even provide career/academic advice. I personally had a hard time seeing the slides and read his handwriting at times, but the problems he shows us and the textbooks are good. Practice the sample problems and try not to fall behind too much.
He explains how to do things in various ways. He tells you the type of question that will and will not be on the exam so all you have to do is the assignment problems a and you can get an easy 90. He gives marks for just writing anything XD. I just hate that he pages me every class because I'm also working on assignments from other classes too :(
Both the exam and midterm problems were extremely difficult and did not resemble the examples shown in class nor were they similar to textbook problems. Don however is a great guy and good professor.
Best prof you can ever have. He focuses heavy on conceptual questions and thus if you memorize the steps or questions, good luck. He's decent in marking. All you need to do is understand the lecture being taught, interrupt him if needed, and do the assignment questions HONESTLY by yourself. Lastly, DONT skip his lecture. Each lecture is worth a LOT
