Trent University RPN to BScN MaryKate is amazing mentor. You need to attend her lectures, as they are full of interaction and useful knowledge. She is very helpful and empathetic.

If you do the work properly, she will give you credit for it. May mark hard on certain assignments but it's 3rd year, expectations are higher. Very understanding of student's situations. Encourages discussion. If you don't understand a concept, just ask her. Really good prof!

Good Prof. However, leadership course itself was very boring and I didn't really learn much from it. Group project was useless and I stopped attending class after my presentation and reflection. What I noticed about this prof is she is fairly hard with marking certain things. I did well on some things and did bad on others

Hard Marker- Not always willing to explain herself. She is relaxed in her teaching, and encourages open discussion. One of the few nursing staff that deserves and earns your respect.

Mary Kate is a great professor compared. She actually talks about our weekly readings and breaks them down and we discuss them. She is open to class discussion and is friendly. I highly recommend her considering some profs that teach this course don't talk about anything useful and dont discuss the readings (what i have heard) I enjoy this class

Mary Kate is an excellent prof. She is very helpfull and considerate to students needs. Shows interest and expert knowledge in course content. Very cool person, down to earth and great sense of humour. Overall she is a great role model. Try to take her class if possible.

Her teaching style is casual and she respects student's comments. Great class discussions, very interactive. She's a hard (but fair) marker. You have to earn your grades with her. Overall, a great teacher!
