Beverly Daniel

Beverly does not have a background in CYC and it shows. She is rude and makes jokes at her students which really are not funny. She takes her views into class way to much rather then a well rounded approach to an issue. Her grading is quite harsh and not fair. It has been past knowledge that many students challenge their grades. DO NOT RECOMMEND

At first she seems kind of intimidating but perhaps that is the issue because she is honest. She clearly knows what she is talking about and takes a strong stand in what she believes in. Every week there are presentations that takes up 30-45mins of the class, which to my surprise was quite alright. Just don't get on her bad side. =)

She is a great prof. I learned a lot frm this class. Yeah she makes students learn through class presentations but thats good. Are you people forgetting that Prof's aren't teachers? thats why they are called professors NOT teachers...they do not teach...they lecture. Teaching is for your T.A.

Great, fun class however if you're looking for a good mark, than avoid this prof! She may have been pregnant during the course, but damn woman i worked hard on my essay and studying hard for tests and you dont give us our markS!!! after promising too also, and leave us with a final grade, that is so ridiculously low and u dont know how u got it! :(

Hard marker. Poor choice of articles in reading. Hardly ever teaches. Stupid presentations. Takes upto 2 weeks to respond to e-mails. Poorly written tests with grammar mistakes. My mark doesn't reflect what I know at all because of her random test questions. Overall a good course to learn stuff on your own. DONE!

Really bad teacher. Doesnt teach, textbook is horriable. Makes the student teach by presentations and then tests you on whatever subjective questions she feels like putting on. If you want a good mark avoid her.

rude. very knowledgeable tho. tests are wordy.. which makes them hard. doesnt teach out of the book. makes the students teach within their presentation ..

one of the worst profs at ryerson i think. she is so opininated that she doesn't takes other opinion in consideration.her tests are nothing like what she teaches in class. i guess if u like memorizing everything in the the text book, this course is for you.

Very good teacher who is passionate about her work. If you ever have an opportunity to take this class with her, please do, it is a great exxperience.
