Ann Brokenshire

Ann does not get as much credit as she deserves. If you do your readings and keep up with the material then the classes are easy going and you will enjoy them...especially the practical part of the course. Ann has been around for a long time and she really knows her stuff, she loves giving stories from her own practice. Just respect her!

She was very confusing. She made class very boring. I hated going to classes. She was so unorganized.

I think the class was designed very poorly and a lot of the lack of clarity could be attributed to that. However, her expectations of you were very unclear which made the class harder than it had to be.

To be successful in her class 1. Use the discussion board, 2. Go 2 weeks prior to the due date of the assignment to her office hours and ask her about all her requirements, she doesn't openly discuss what is required, as if she is trying to screw you by not openly disclosing the requirements of the assignment. do so and you will get an A

wants apa but not very good herself. loses papers and sometimes shifts to prof excuses that blames u for her memory losses and deficits and needs detailed explanation to make her remember. her classes also r BORING, almost torturous.

Not my favourite at all. For future first year nursing students, if you get her for anything-- ANYTHING at all, I suggest you change your class section right NOW. Go on RAMSS and click swap classes. I recommend people to check out most of the negative comments about her because they're probably all true.

Does not appear to understand material thoroughly enough to be teaching others. Clarification from her = increase in confusion. She is friendly, though. Taught incorrect skills. So beware and be scared.

If you wanna go back to elementary school this is the teacher for you! Just make sure you don't ask too many difficult questions or else she'll go mental on your head. Why can't Ryerson take a hint?! Who cares if she's been there for 10 + years.

She doesn't teach or give lecture notes.This is a class where you do everything on your own.Also a disorganized teacher.
