Really nice professor. She tend's to talk much however, 100% of the content is always covered and she gives great real life examples. One of the best profs for social work at Ryerson.
Jennifer is amazing! She is so kind and caring and treats all of her students equally. i was having a rough time and she was extremely supportive. Her exams are easy, group assignments are simple and one essay which was very specific and easy to do well in. Lots of this class involves your own opinion and experiences. She is amazing.
One of the best profs I've had at Ryerson. Definitely take her class if you enjoy learning critical social work perspectives. Has a lot of experience in the field and a wonderful social work prof. :)
Cares about students and is always willing help.Explains the material very well, really knows her stuff. What I liked most about Jennifer was her warmth and how personable she was.
I felt like she was babying the class and that her lessons were based on common sense rather than insightful well-thought out facts. No experience outside of the classroom which should be important when teaching aspiring social workers who need a greater sense of understanding of the world outside of the classroom.
I love Jennifer, she had a class full of mouthy brats who kept riding on her for everything. She is awsome and sweet, ALWAYS available for students, and tried her best to teach what she knows.....which is ALOT. If anything she needs to learn to be meaner to bratty students.
It's like being in grade school all over again. Could use more of a challenge, that's for sure.
I was in her class last year. It's funny how she is teaching Social Work, and yet she has no real experience outside of the classroom.
