David Green is great. He's hilarious and is super nice. Acts so aloof bout everything but he actually knows what he's talking about and cares about what his students produce. He will tell you to be mean in crits, LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS! If he appreciates your work he will give you a good mark- not likes, appreciates.
Dave was my teacher a long time ago (early 2000s). Came here to say he was good and inspirational prof. I don't think I would have made it through the 4 years of new media without his guidance. New Media was a bad program back then. Thanks Dave!
Dave Green is the greatest professor I've ever had. He is also quite possibly the greatest man who's ever lived. Professor Green always has wisdom to bestow upon the class, knowledge that he shares while also using many engaging hand motions which aid him in illustrating his point. I'm proud to be a Dave's pupil, thank you for our little infinity.
This professor has no computer science background and he did not demonstrate necessary skills to teach this course. He is mismatching basic computer terms commonly used in industry and dodging technical questions. Shame for RU.
David is extremely disorganize. Forgets attendance sheets at home and does not have plans for the class. He is not a strong teacher and should not have a job here at Ryerson. He does not respond to emails. Only gives criticism and usually doesn't say positive feedback after presenting. He makes me want to cry. Strongly dislike him.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PROF!!!He is the BEST. HE is really helpful, funny, and wants to see you pass. He is understanding and approachable.
nice guy
Extremely disorganized, doesn't follow any kind of plan in teaching the course, usually is too stressed, in a bad mood, rambles about unrelated stuff, gives no feedback, completely dis interested in students. I don't know on what basis he teaches a university level course. The niceness mentioned in other comments doesn't make him qualified.
I love David Green. Not only is he a great guy who takes a lot of interest in his students, but he knows what he's talking about. I thought he did a good job teaching us Processing, which I started out with no previous experience with but learned so much. Could be seen as "easy", but will challenge you if you're looking for it.
