Carmen Schifellite

I did not like this professor at all. People said he was nice, but I thought he was a phony. Likes to deliver little microaggressions against students he doesn't agree with. I had him a couple of years ago but still to this day I feel harmed by his attitude. Never again.

Dr. Schifellite is a very kind professor who definitely cares about the success of his students. He explains theories and concepts clearly, uses many examples in different formats, and explains assignments very thoroughly. The textbook is not really needed, but can be helpful to review theories since sociology is heavy on them.

solid prof, helps to talk to him. my essay for another class accidentally ended up in his drop box and personally returned it to me so i could submit it again. Tells interesting stories about his life

Carmen is a very sweet person and an amazing lecturer. He is super passionate about what he teaches and also tries to keeps his students engaged by showing them interesting videos in class and also encouraging them to speak their opinion in class.

Carmen is a fair prof! He's one of the rare profs that cares for his students. The only pain, was his no technology rule. The final exam was super easy, I used the old textbook to study, buying the new text is a waste. If anything he tells u what has been updated with the new textbook LOL. Overall, actually knows about his course and is wonderful.

Sweetest prof ever, cares about his students. Doesn't allow laptops unless you speak with him personally but thats more of a non issue. One final essay, two exams all multiple choice and multiple tutorial and in class assignments worth a few percent to boost your mark.

he is such a heart! very nice, caring and sweet. his lectures are not boring but you have to show up as his slides have blanks. midterm and exam are very easy if you attend class. Participation is only accounted for at the end of the semester. The TA's are alright, the essay is weird you have to use a lot of class content for the essay, use terms

Professor schifellite is amazing and the course content isnt bad at all. If youre interested in sociology you'll do great. Participation is taken the last few weeks and the tests are multiple choice which makes life even easier

He teaches pretty well. He's kinda boring sometimes. Yes you have to hand write all his notes he doesn't allow laptops. Really easy tests, TA's help a lot. Essays weren't too hard to write about because you usually connect it to yourself. Attendance only taken at the end of the semester. Textbook use only used for clarity.

One of the loveliest professors I've ever had the pleasure of being taught by. Schifellite is patient w/ students and gives the impression that he truly cares about what he's teaching and wants students to care as well. Lectures are always diverse to accommodate to all learning styles and he creates a really inclusive and healthy class atmosphere.
