Joseph Springer

Joe was a great teacher last year, easy to understand & his lectures were great. He cared about his students & made sure that you retained what you learned. A shame that he retired last year, but everyone who took PLG200 in W2013 at Ryerson was very satisfied with his class. His farewell speech was amazing. Love you Joe! You're a legend in SURP.

It's nice having a professor that doesn't try to intimidate us. He's so remarkably relaxed and friendly, takes some of the stresses off students. Put him next to unstable angry profs like Keeble and Springer is literally an angel. He gets along with his students and genuinely seems to care about them.

my favourite professor in the SURP. His work isn't terribly difficult or time consuming, and he makes the material very interesting by bringing his own life experiences into his lectures. 10/10

Great professor. Easy to do well and everything is straightforward and cleear.

Very nice, funny and smart guy. Very easy marker (got A+). His assignments are fun, and the mid-term was take-home and the final open book. Lectures were mostly interesting too. Can't ask for much more!

The very best. very knowledgeable, kind, patient, understanding. You don't need to come up with some dumb excuse, just tell him the truth. Very interesting lectures, but long sometimes.

Springer! What an intelligent man. Very patient, kind, and wise. Yes, he is full of wisdom, and tells amazing stories. Really learned a lot!
