Monique Richard

Monique Richard is dedicated to students. Inspiring instruction in Literacy, Print Rich Environments, Symbol Picture Recognition. As a Practicum Supervisor Monique was instrumental in landing my placement in Child Life at HSC. This placement was life altering. Monique Richard is an exceptional Professor. I am grateful for her support and guidance.

So easy.

I was expecting this course to be hard. It really wasn't. Lectures were posted online and the tests were basically from the powerpoints. The group assignments were a bit useless though but at least we had no exam!

If you want an easy credit and an A, take her Literacy I course. Sure she doesn't speak English well, but there was no textbook which was awesome. All the study notes that you need were on power point and her multiple choice exam questions were directly from her notes. I did hear that the Social/Emotional course she teaches is very hard.

Monique was an easy prof. She was able to answer questions and I learned what I needed to. I find her style of teaching easy and somewhat elementary, but overall she got the job done. She was kind as well and cared about her students.

Eventhough the tests were challenging, she was a really knowledgeable, helpful and non-biased professor!

I have to agree that mention to her accent is in poor taste. However, I will agree with the comment pertaining to the fact that she is not at the level of a university professor. She lacks in her interpersonal skills and clarity in her classes. She seems unclear herself as to where she gets her marks! Develop some rubrics Monique, they work!!!!

Monique, Monique you were a terrible prof. I can't believe that you are still there. It is not fair that she is so difficult and often extremely rude. I got an A+ in her class and I learned nothing. Somebody wake up and put her back to teaching preschool....she is not a university level professor.

She is extremely funny and respects her students. An easy marker if you do what is asked of you.
