Very outdated. Does not care about basic theory. just reads slides and tries to get away with half hearted explanations. you might pass the course but wont learn anything worthwhile.
Exams are easy and fairly evaluated, but beware of the labs/project. You need to have lots of patience and no free time with the labs in this course. For the project, choose the NoC over the MD5. In my year, MD5 was broken and no one could get it to work, plus, the exam heavily tests on NoC knowledge but nothing on MD5. Dr. Khan is a chill guy.
Pretty good course, albiet a bit slow paced. Lectures are good and useful. Labs are a bit annoying, but not bad once you get the hang of it. Midterm & Exams are based on previous years. Midterm is harder than the exam.
This prof was interesting. I see what the other reviews meant when they said he's condescending. Loves to shit on students for asking questions. Thank god for the TAs, TA Yoga is what got me through the labs. Tests were largely based on previous years, not too bad, but be prepared to never have anything explained in depth by the prof.
This prof is genuinely one of the few good ones in 4th year. Highly recommend and the labs are very time-consuming so get ready to work hard on the labs. Content is interesting and exams/tests are "highly" based on prev years.
Dr. Khan was one of the proffs that I have mixed feeling, exams are similar to previous years might be a little more challenging so you need to make sure you know the concepts. labs were literally hell, I don't wanna go through another lab section under his course. I do not recommend Dr. Khan due to the labs. if you survive labs, you are good
I think he's a great professor and knows what he's talking about. He answers questions very well and is really thorough in his explanations of the concepts (which are hard concepts). He's also a generous marker when it comes to the final exam, he's boosted a lot of people and doesn't want to fail people in 4th year (take it from me I almost failed)
Dr. Khans lectures are boring to start due to the information being tedious, however later are very interesting. Labs are difficult, but going through the documentation and understanding the example code makes the labs very easy! Midterm exam was very easy as its online and open book. He gives a heavy curve so everyone ends up doing decent.
Dr. Khan is good professor. If you pay attention you would get an A easy.
It was a challenging course but he gave a generous curve at the end
