Very clear about what he expects from you. Teaches concepts very well and tests like the homework. Go to class and do the homework to get a good grade simple enough

Prof. Newhouse was friendly, humourous and helpful. He changed right before the final. He took attendance really personally. If you missed any classes he'd go on about how he hadn't seen you in weeks. His final was long and expected you to memorise CCA tables, subtle technicalities and a bunch of rules you only saw once in the homework.

Jeff is a great professor,knowledgeable,transmits his passion for tax.He ensures students understand the topics,always trying to find ways to explain in a way that it?s easy to understand.Very supportive,answers all your questions.Enthusiastic,engages students? interest,encouraging active participation.He exemplifies the meaning of a good professor

I agree with all the POSITIVE comments given here. He explains clearly, helpful, very encouraging & current in his knowledge.He so humble, genuinely interested in helping students.One of the few professionals who can break the concepts down to students' level.If you ask him stupid question,he will not belittle you. He is a Blessing to Tax students.

If he is the best, I would hate to see the worst. He never gives consultation, and he does not care if students understand and if you ask him he will tell to figure it out yourself.

Celebrate if you can get him for tax! Great teacher, no tricks on tests (although they are still hard and time is limited) but he makes sure every1 understands key topics. Very approachable and very fair. Do your hmwk every week and you set urself up to do very well. Really cool Prof!

WOW! This professor is amazing. The best professor I had so far. Do your homework and listen in class and you will do well. No surprises on midterms or final exam (as long as you do the homework). Do them a few times if you don't get it. He is very approachable and takes up the answers in class. Very knowledgeable in all tax matters. Recommended!

The best Accounting prof at Ryerson, without a doubt. Calls on students to explain material, but NEVER belittles or scoffs at them (like other tax profs). He realizes that teaching your peers is part of learning, and gives you the confidence to deal with clients. Very laid back, approachable and fair. Highly recommended.

A VERY HELPFUL PROF. HE CAN REALLY TEACH TAX. YOU WILL LEARN ALOT FROM HIM.
