Shelagh Stewart

Ohhh... I will never forget this woman. She was the best of many fashion teachers at Ryerson. I learned so much from her. I think that she may have retired, which no is a shame because she was fantastic. Very fond memories! Thank you Shelagh!

Shelagh is seemingly nice but she always wants things her way which isn't helpful.

TOO SPECIFIC IN HER TASTE!

Very moody, and very specifc to what she likes and doesn't, wants you to take risk but scruntizes you when you do. She prefers generic fashion figures.

AMAZING teacher. I hated illustration first year, but Shelagh makes it soooo much more interesting!

so knowledgeable about all things illustration and art, very nice. if you hated illustration in first year, just wait until you get shelagh because she's sooooo much better.

I didn't find her class very useful...I don't think I learned much. And she has a very particular taste in art. If she doesn't like your style that's it. Bad grades for you!

Amazing teacher! I have never seen so much improvement in my myself after just one class. Shes very helpful and def. loves her job!

Very classy! Seems like lots of fun. Very down to earth. Will call you on your mistakes. Encourage you when do something well or when having trouble with something. Only teacher i can think of who cares about how you might take it when she is doing a critique. Wont just tear you apart
