He is a really caring prof and wants the best for everyone. Just make sure to go to his lectures as he simplifies everything. The examples he goes through are enough to study for the midterm/final.
Exams were very easy but marked harshly. Lectures were usually pretty short.
If you want an easy 90 or 100 on midterm and final, just practice the questions he took up in class as the questions are very similar to them. he also tells you what questions are likely to be on the exam. very caring and makes sure students understand the concept. has a funny accent too
he is the best second year prof you can imagine, he goes straight forward to the concept you need to know, and he doesn't take exams hard. if you don't get a good mark is your fault cuz he guides you to prepare better. lab marks are also free marks, they are time consuming but he tells TAs to mark them chill. this is the easiest A+ ever.
His midterms and finals were straight from the questions he would solve in class. This class was very very fair marking wise. If you do practice problems, you will do amazing.
I don't think he is concrete plan how to take the course entire semester into students. He says learn everything from YouTube and Google. Never ever opt any subject from this professor.
Very straight forward teacher, he solves many problems in class that are near copies of questions in the midterm/final. Overall made the course as easy as possible for us.
He may be an accomplished and genius researcher but is horrible at teaching and coordinating a course. This guy deserves the award for laziest prof. Reads straight off a textbook, never uploads grade on time, trash lab manual full of errors/bugs and responds you with passive aggressive emails. Ignore him and self teach yourself the whole course.
The way he sets up his class is terrible. He isnt necessarily trying to fail you on purpose but his exams labs and ta selection make it very hard not to. Lectures are just watching a pre recorded textbook reading and doesnt post anything in announcements
He is a laughable excuse of a professor. He doesn't post announcements about the exams, will ignore student emails or respond by saying to find it yourself, just plays lectures he recorded in 2020, doesn't mark on time ever, has zero margin of error on tests so you get a zero just for rounding 100.9 to 101, no part marks ever. Don't take him.
