James Cunningham

This professor stands out to me from my time at Ryerson as one who made me feel humiliated, picked on, and stupid everytime I was in his class. I eventually stopped going and just showed up to the exam. He wasted time daily rearranging the desks and picking on students in order to embarrass and mock them. Should have made a formal complaint.

This prof is the only one I remember from when I I was in Ryerson over eight years ago seriously lmao i even remembered his first name thats how amazing he is and hes funny as hell and didnt make me not want to go to class at all. Every week he made at least one of my lectures brighter. Cunningham FTW!! ��

He is very charming and humorous. He exemplifies a passion for teaching and his energy is contagious. One of a kind and you should take his class to have the experience. Experience points all the way. Hard marker, but he makes up for it in all other ways. Take his class and stick through with him until he grows on you as an inspirational person!

By far one of the BEST profs are Ryerson! I am yet to find a professor that is so incredibly intelligent and engaging. Definitely knows his material. I've taken 2 classes with him and it has been life changing.

As overused as it is, i wish universities were filled with professors such as Cunningham. What a great person to listen to and be taught by. No only did he teach the material at hand, but he always went beyond the surface and tried to open up our minds to different things. I learned a lot more than philosophy in his class. There's no one like him.

Amazing teaching technique, and very interesting and inspiring approach to the subject. He has a high sense of humour and his energy and passion for teaching are incredible. I really loved his classes and was looking forward to them every week.

Amazing would definitely take a course with him again.

James is my fav! I've taken 2 of his courses and am changing my electives so that they are all for his classes!! He is such a great teacher and person and isnt afraid to speak his mind which makes him so amazing! He'll make fun of you openly but he does it to everybody so don't take offence!! One day in his class and you'll be in love!
