Monica McGlynn Stewart

Monica is one of the most genuine professors I have ever come across. I had her for my final year research, and I couldn't have asked for a better mentor. She is the reason why I love research and actually good at it! I would definitely recommend her!

Monica is an amazing professor. I have had her for 3 courses and have got As in all 3. Her classes arestructured into sections so that students don't get bored of listening to long lectures. She is also upto date on research. I found it useful that she explains her assignments in detail and grades them according to the expectations. She's great!

Monica is wonderful! She is so caring and always uses anecdotes to make her students feel welcome and safe. Although sometimes she strays and is a bit of a stickler for following her directions, listen and show up for class and you're sure to do well!! She's so kind!

She is WAY too wrapped up in her own world and is unwilling to see views and opinions outside of her own. If you want to do well in this course become her 'best friend', chat-it-up, and ensure that all of your assignments match her opinion. Oh, and she is extraordinarily uptight with DETAILS!!!

Take Early Primary Programming if u want to teach JK/SK or Grades 1-3. It's an easy class w/ no tests, exams or essays, just teadious short reflection papers, group work, 1 large project & 2 mini present. She provided a lot of fun and interesting programming ideas. Just buy the course reader and not the other textbooks coz you will not use them.

SHe was terrribe, you felt like you were in kindergarten and she never explained assignments properly. What was with those bells!

I think she is excellent, passionate and driven.
