Leads lectures by discussions and tries to engage students. Easy going and takes students points into consideration
Palmina is an awesome teacher to talk to and bounce ideas off of..but sitting through her lecture can be incredibly borring and limited uses. She is an awesome prof and teacher...but the classes ive had her for very borring lectures.
Could not justify why she gave the marks she did when asked for clarification. Lectures were boring and she did not sound as if she knew the material she was talking about. Seemed uninterested in the subject.
Spoke too low in class, doesn;t show passion about what she is talking about
she was good...her answers to your questions weren't always clear and she was very repetitive. If we asked her a questions she would jsut ask the students to answer it and then repeat what they say. She a nice person in general and she is dedicated to her job. I had her for placement seminars, and she was nice and responded to what we needed.
Some problems with Palmina: She needs a mike because it's hard to hear her. Her lectures are repetitive and boring. Students pretty much are self-taught and on their own. Her marking scheme is rather bizzare- students receive the same mark for work ranging in quality. This course was useless!
Horrible class...there is no point to this class...i didnt learn anything new about diversity or multiculturalism at all. the teacher seemed to be preoccupied with her work rather then teaching the class. although it is a required course...i think it should be taken out of the curriculum.
