Tim is not a good professor as it seems he is too busy to even teach. This is a very unorganized person. Once asked him about a very important question and his response was "I cant discuss exam information individually". Really he is all over the place so dont bother asking any questions. Also takes days to reply to emails worst prof ever
Organizing problems, time management problems, clarity issues, feedback issues; there's nothing good about this professor unfortunately. On top of all this, he definitely cannot teach. He knows the material, but he can't explain it at all. Also gets very offended sometimes if students don't acknowledge his academic position; oh the ego!
Hybrid course is a joke, you'll see him 3 times in total, and he sucks at teaching.
This prof is horrible. He is very confusing when it comes to the grading scheme, he doesn't follow the course outline, and don't get me started on his exams. Avoid this professor at all costs if you want to get a good grade.
Tim has the knowledge but almost seems incapable of passing it onto his students. He tries but not hard enough. He should quit teaching as students just don't like his style or the fact that he is too confusing.Get another prof. or you will suffer his lectures that have no impact on the tests andwrk
No complaints about Tim. He knows what he's talking about and is very accommodating. Do the work, put forth some effort and it definitely pays off in the long run (final assignment is based on weekly assignments).
McLaren seems to know his stuff, but definitely doesn't know how to teach. Extremely vague, and not helpful at all. Unorganized: serious time management issues, several cases when he went back on his word. Too much emphasis on weekly assignments. Overall experience is bad. Avoid at all costs.
Course was "online" but a LOT of work for Group Portfolio (due every few weeks), weekly online chapter tests (makes you keep up w readings), and weekly forum discussions. Although there is no class, you'll need to meet up w group members to work on Portfolio. 100% textbook material for midterm and final!
Most will find the workload annoying since there's one almost every week, but it's easy. If you don't forget to do the work, keep up with th readings and communicate with your group regularly, this course is a definite A.
Taking this class online, it's terrible. The work load is too high relative to the marks. There are way to many readings and small things that need to be done. Lack of communication from the professor does not help the matter.
