Prof. Farid is one of the best professors. I had a great experience. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. If you are taking him, you have to go to his classes, take notes, take pictures of mcq then only you can do well. Otherwise, you will be lost in the slides. Passed the course with A. Love to take him again!!
NO WAY PEOPLE ARE DROPPING 1.0 LMAOOOOO, bro if you mess up this class it's on you. Just go to class he gives you the EXACT layout for examinations. I promise you if you have him just go to class, the midterm was all class questions and the final was 70% class questions too. ONCE AGAIN IF YOU MESS UP ITS ON YOU. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN TRUST MEEEEE
Please learn from my mistake and don't take itm 820 or even itm 301 had him as prof. His slides are outdated he just rambles, he ends up teaching something entirely different from what's in the exams. All his assignments are so outdated and never responds to emails and can't ask him questions after classes he just says idk follow the instructions.
I can't even begin to comprehend how he even has one single 5 rating on this course. His slides are packed with random unnecessary bs and he ends up teaching something entirely different in class. All his assignments are so outdated, half the information in the slides are outdated. The exams were so specific, but not that difficult if you study.
Farid is one of my favourite profs at TMU. I have taken a couple of courses taught by him and every time it has been great. Yes, his lectures are long but they really are all you need to prepare for your final exam. Group project was easy and straightforward as well.
He is one of the best profs I've ever had in TMU. have taken a few of his classes over the years and was never disappointed... highly recommended.
Nice prof and super hilarious as well.
Prof. Farid is very nice and highly knowledgeable in IT network infrastructure. You will succeed in this course if you attend his lectures, as they are well-prepared and closely aligned with the exam. The course is heavily focused on memorization, and you will do well if you stay committed.
The comment below on his knees lol grown man zip it up when ur done. The prof has an accent, so it's hard to understand which is infuriating. He doesnt use the slides and instead draws stuff on the whiteboard. He's better than most profs but i didnt learn much from his lectures sadly, learnt more studying on my own. easy to get a good grade.
