Very theoretical. I learned all my advanced digital signal processing theories that enable me to read signal processing journals.
No midterm, and it's an open-internet final
Hard to understand a single line of what he teaches.. no practical demonstration of how things work.. exam questions way too hard with very less time.. I did not learn a thing. Most student will agree with this evaluation
The is the worst professor I have ever seen in my whole life as a student. He is an absolute disaster. Even if you understand the concept he is teaching, you will be lost after he explains it. His lectures are extremely boring and his exams are intended to fail students. Avoid at all costs.
This guy gave us 2 hours to complete an insanely long exam. I had to skip around 6 of the 32 questions just to finish in time. Many of the questions were multi-step and took a very long time to complete, with no part marks. Please stay far away from this professor as he explicitly made the exam 2 hours when it should have been 3. AVOID
This guy is not able to explain the concepts clearly and irresponsive to students' requests.
Doesnt give any feedback until after the final exam and project submission.
The first course I'm taking in Masters and he's the prof. He expects us to learn everything at home. At least 2 times per lecture he tells the students "if you don't understand x concept you will fail" I get that but that's not very motivational. Very difficult project and homework he assigns but refuses to show us the right answer.
The guy is a horrible professor and a snake. I took his class he got me to do a project for him over the summer and he never paid me even though he promised me. Apparently, he does that to everyone, get everything with this guy in writing
His reputation is well known in the department, just ask around before you have any dealings with him.
