He is a tough grader and not at all accommodating. He once mocked a student who arrived late to a class, and when the student explained that it was due to TTC delays, he still blamed the student openly in front of the class. However, he is a knowledgeable person in his field, though it is hard to understand him at times.
You will regret taking this class. I have never been in a class where all the students had difficulty. He is not accommodating, and the syllabus provided little information. Also, for the main assignment, beware of grading.
This is a very bad prof. So hard to understand, and all he does is read off the slides. It doesn't seem like he understands what he's reading. All he does is read off slides and then yell at anyone who has a point. I tried to contribute to the lesson and got yelled at for making a point that went against his.
If you have any academic accommodations do not take this professor. He is very old school and attendance is mandatory for the class. He fights with you about giving the accommodations for the exams and is not tech savvy.
Hard to understand and topics in exams are kind of ambiguous. A bit strange how the only students who ask questions & participate end up feeling demoralized by his response, not that he means to be like that. He just seems of out of touch. Overall not many assignments, OK marking, unclear feedback. Wouldn't recommend but def wouldn't avoid either.
I personally found him easy to understand & interesting but he's not a professor who cares about you. His lectures are mandatory, but over half of what he says won't be on your exams. Be sure to read & rely on the textbook when you study. He's not good at responding or understanding questions you have, so beware if you have bad group members.
During lectures I would have a hard time understanding what he's saying. Whenever anyone was late he would stop talking about the material and call them out. He does know a lot about what he teaches but he doesn't teach properly and you have to relearn everything by yourself. Overall he wasn't the worst professor, he was just ok.
Not qualified. Hard to understand. Incorrect information in lecture and slide. Spelling errors in emails and exams. Contradictory when asking about clarification. Yelled at me for using the ASSIGNED TEXTBOOK in class claiming i was doing work for other classes. Group project: class is full of 1st years so they don't really care about big research.
I genuinely do not understand how this "prof" is qualified to teach at any level let alone at university. He can't construct a proper English sentence yet he is marking students work. The research paper assignment clearly stated a 2,500-word limit in the course outline but the guy took our marks off and said we “could have done 3,000–4,000 words.”
Confronts late people - makes it so hard to watch. He is SO hard to understand I have had so many professors with the thickest accents but his requires so much focus to actually get. Gross towards female students & made weird comments. Super strange grading and doesn't provide explanation when you ask also NEVER answers emails. Avoid at all costs.
