Henry Parada

Henry is knowledgeable and very passionate about the profession of Social Work. Sometimes he would move on to another topic too soon. He is very supportive of student learning and support.

Adore his personality,s and he tries, he really does, however, his english is difficult to understand, he has difficulty explaining concepts using understood examples, he seldomly finishes an idea/thought, which results in more questions being raised & not enough class time. Otherwise, he's dedicated to making time to meet personally with you.

Very difficult to understand his English. Unclear instructions for assignments. Holds double standards. Disrespectful and sarcastic.

Good teacher

Dr. Parada was amazing! I really enjoyed his class and his area of research. He's funny, helpful and expects students to put in the work, OBVI. Some ppl need to stop coming to class looking a best friend or group therapy session (yes,its a social work program BUT you're not there seeking a social worker.

great prof, easy course. I didn't do any readings and did fairly well.

i also had a negative experience with him when i needed assistance. it is frustrating when the teachers don't practice what they preach about aop social work. stuff happens to people, even students, that is out of our control and it sucks when teachers don't get that especially in social work.
